Aquatint etchings to illustrate Lawrence Ferlinghetti's poem, "In Golden Gate Park That Day...". Hard ground etching on zinc plates, speed etched the aquatint, to get the faded cloud / fog effect - typical of San Fransisco, and as a metaphor for the "terrible depression" in the last line of the poem. The fog gets darker and all consuming, as the poem progresses, to represent this.
